Where It Grows on Our Farm
Our Geisha is grown above 1,600 meters, in the Dota valleys around Santa Maria de Dota — the same area where our farm is based. This altitude is consistent with where Geisha is grown successfully across the region, and it comes with a real trade-off: lower yield per plant than our other varieties, which is part of why it costs more to produce.
What to Expect in the Cup
Geisha grown at this altitude in Dota is known for a strongly floral profile — jasmine and orange blossom — with notes of bergamot and peach, and a silky, complex acidity. These are the characteristics typical of Geisha from this specific altitude and region, not a claim about a specific lot’s cupping score — ask us for the current score of the lot you are interested in.
